Stellar day today and here I am nasa McDO reminiscing my pole dancing
days. 2 years ago, I was very excited but nervous at the same time.
It's my first time to perform in front of an audience. And guess what --
through Pole Dancing! Hehe..eh sa malakas loob ko eh! Imagine what my
friends were thinking about the notion of dancing in a pole in skimpy
outfits. Yep, ok lang sa akin. I didn't care what others were thinking,
for me I was enjoying that moment. We gave everything preparing for that
day and it gives me happiness I think Stellar performers only
understand.
The event was by the way a recital program of Polecats Manila. Every year they let their students perform.
Here
are a few of the pics taken during the actual performance. I joined 2
numbers, one was beginner poledancing taught by teacher Nikki, the other
a dance number taught by teacher Aira of Sexbomb. Yung sa amin,
easy-peasy lang since beginner level. Yung iba, buwis buhay na haha,
especially ung Intermediate level.
Backstage
preparations have been full of picture taking as well. I was with
friends who became dear to me through pole dancing classes.
Part of the recital program din was a photoshoot done weeks before the
actual performance day. We wore our actual costumes and did silly poses
in front of the camera..
At the end of the whole Stellar experience, I got this souvenir pic. A
simple pose pic but a pic that's worth friendships acquired, talent
developed and self confidence boosted.
