This year, Kiel not only attended 2 Halloween parties but 3! This last one was held at my sister's office in Pasay. Kiel has been religiously attending their Halloween party for three years now.


And since peg ko nga ang D.I.Y., I created his costume from an idea I found in Pinterest.

Actually, hindi pumasok sa isip ko na Shaun The Sheep ang itawag dito. Sheep lang talaga siya na animal. Pero nung andun na sa event, panay sila sabi ng 'Ang cute ni Shaun the Sheep!'. So sige na nga, Kiel as Shaun the Sheep na lang.

Its very easy lang.

You will be needing the following materials:
1. cotton balls
2. Glue gun and glue sticks
3. 2 old sleveless onesies
4. Something to stuff the onesie to make it makapal ( I used old pillow stuffings)
5. Black cartolina
6. White paper
7. White bonnet
8. Black pants
9. Black long sleeved top
10. Brown shoes

To make the sheep's body:

1. Put one of the onesie inside the other onesie and sew the open sides (sleeves, neck and thighs). Leave a little opening unsewn.
2. Put stuffing inside the sewn onesie, make sure to fit this to the child first before sewing it close since it tends to become tighter when the stuffings are already inside.
3. Start glueing the cotton balls all over the onesie.
 

To make the sheep's head:
1. Draw on a black cartolina an elongated shape with pointed end in one side. Draw 2 pcs of this. This will serve as the ears.
2. Draw a smaller version in a white paper. Draw 2 pcs as well.
3. Paste the white ears in the middle of the black ears as shown on the picture below.
4. Fold the ears halfway lengthwise with the white part inside when folded.
5. Sew the upper part of the ears on the white bonnet.

(Please disregard the black paper clips. I initially thought of using it instead of sewing the ears due to lack of time but sewed it anyway)

 

Honestly this costume was messy. Maya maya me nahuhulog na cotton balls. We came prepared though. Nagbaon kami ng glue sa event, haha!

Medyo nagmukhang babae si Kiel noh? Haha, sorry baby, ginawa kang dress up doll ni Mommy!

Spooky Carnival pala ang theme. Di ako aware. So nangyari, si Kiel super cute instead of scary, haha! Di bale, nanalo pa din naman siya as one of the best dressed. Unique kasi.

Nilait lait pa ako ng Daddy niya at ng kapatid ko. Sana raw bumili na lang akong ready to wear costume. Yoko nga! Ayun, natuwa din sila nung marami nacutean ke Kiel, nanalo pa ng award. Haha!

Here are more pics of Kiel. Haggard na siya pagkalabas ng event kasi maraming dinaanang booths, punung puno ang pumpkin nia. Buti at ayaw nia magpabuhat. Masipag maglakad that day. Kundi pati kami nagmukha na ring bulak, haha.
