It's already halfway through January and I'm still catching up on finishing blogs on my draft folder which I'm supposed to do last year pa.

But first, I just wanna share how my first half of January went...

Right after the noises went down on New Year, I spent the first hours of 2018 watching a Kathniel movie with DJ. Haha, yes, what a cheesy way to start the year but I'm a fan of Kathryn Bernardo's beauty kaya yun ang pinanood namin. We watched the movie 'Can't Help Falling in Love' until 4 in the morning.


The next day, the grandparents visited us. We again watched a movie: Geostorm. Ayaw ko sana manood ng disaster movie na ito on the first day of the year. Parang di bagay kasi. Dapat good vibes movies lang. I ended up watching it anyway kasi gusto nila panoorin.

Jan 2, I'm back to work. Sabi ko sa New Year's Resolution ko, this year I won't come to work without sleep na. But lo and behold, first workday for the year and pumasok akong walang tulog. Olats talaga. Haha. I tried pero di kinaya. Although 4 days lang ang holidays, nawala na sa routine ang body clock ko. Same with my sister who also works the night shift. Haha. Pareho kaming bangag pagkauwi after work.

First sunday of the week was spent in Fun City with Kiel and the daddy. Idea ko to since I wanted Kiel to enjoy his first weekend for 2018. Besides, matagal na rin naming gusto puntahan ang play area na to. Tuwang tuwa nga ang bata, kami naman pagod na pagod. Haha. I'll blog about Fun City in a separate post.

While in Cubao, I bought a 2018 planner, a calendar and some stickers. I wanted this year to be well documented kaya gusto ko magplanner. I started using a planner last year lang and it was effective. Along with it, I bought this cute blue-green signpen. I love collecting cute and colorful ballpens kasi.

I also bought a calendar and some stickers. I have this idea of monitoring ung pgtutoothbrush ni Kiel, thus the calendar and stickers. The idea is ganito: After he brushes his teeth at night, he can choose what sticker to put on that date on the calendar. Pag nacomplete nia 1 month he will get a reward.

Nung pinakita ko sa kanya ang stickers, di pa nia alam anong purpose. Di naexcite. Lekat na bata. The next day, hanap ako ng hanap ng isang pad ng stickers kasi nawawala. Yun pala tinapon niya sa basurahan! Haha. Kala niya basura.

Monday, we had our internal Java exam sa office. Di ako nakapag aral. Nakapag aral naman pala pero di ko natapos basahin ang buong Chapter 1. Ayun bagsak: 4 of 6. Five ang passing score. The next day, kinausap na kaming mga nabagsak isa isa. Napansin atang di namin sineryoso ang pag aaral for the exam. Sinabing constant failure will lead to termination eventually. Kahit baguhan ka pa lang or senior na, pwedeng matanggal pag di pumasa. Senior Developer na ako sa office, 7 years na ako dun.

Wednesday, we took a retake exam. Haha, this time nakapasa na ako. Perfect score pa nga. Hehe. Syempre sino ba naman ang di matatakot na matanggal sa work noh?!

I already received my first pay for this year. Good news kasi implemented na ang TRAIN, bagong tax reform kaya nadagdagdan ang sweldo dahil sa lumiit na tax. Hehe.

Kaso tumaas naman presyo ng gas. Boooo.

Our boss emailed us last week regarding plans for our company outing. Yey! Dito ako excited kasi out of the country. Sa November pa naman but we were already asked on recommendations kung saang bansa. Last time was in Taiwan. Sana this year Japan or Korea. Hahaha. Sana lang naman.

Last weekend we already inquired for Kiel's target school for Nursery this coming school year. Kakalipat lang ng isang school sa tapat ng bahay namin kaya nag inquire na kami. Ang mahal na pala ng tuition preschool pa lang! Parang pang college ko na dati ung presyo eh! Time to ipon ipon na. If march raw mag enroll (early enrollment) me benefits like free summer classes and discounts.

Lastly, just yesterday, yung kababata ko na classmate ko from preschool to college, dumalaw sa bahay namin. Ninong siya ni Kiel at ngayon lang niya uli nakita si Kiel after 2 years. Every year, me tradition kaming exchange gift together with another highscul friend. Nasa province lang yung isa kaya mag isa siya dumalaw kahapon. I received a starbucks planner from him. Haha so ngayon 2 na planner ko, pag isipan ko na lang kung pano ko gagamitin ang isa.

So ganyan mga ganap sa buhay ko for the past 15 days. Looking forward to more ganaps for the rest of the year.
