Farmers Market.
If you're a foodie and is looking for places in Los Angeles to satisfy your food cravings, Farmers Market is definitely one of the places to go to. Aside from the fresh produce that this market offers, what made this famous for locals and tourists alike is because of its ethnic cuisines and its specialty food markets prepared in stalls.

You can find in here local American cuisine as well as foods from Los Angeles' immigrants like Latin American, European and Asian cuisines. Unlike most farmers markets, this one in Los Angeles is open for everybody all seven days of the week, Mondays through Sundays. In fact (according to Wikipedia) this place is considered a historic Los Angeles landmark and is a very big tourist attraction of the city.

Opened in July 1934. Located at the corner of 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles.

Old fashioned ice cream any one?

Found this giant lollipop at Dylan's Candy Bar. (I didn't buy this actually, I opted for a medium size instead.) And look at those organized-by-color candies at the back.. Waah! Felt like a little kid again!

Really had a hard time deciding on what flavor to buy. There's just too many flavors!

Candy coated apples for the win!

And there's choco coated apples too! And caramel coated ones.. (drools!)

European cuisine for breakfast - or maybe brunch? This one was highly recommended by my boss. He frequently eats here. Surprisingly, one of the food vendor in this stall is a Filipino, yey!

One of the best crepes I had in my entire life! Too bad I was not able to take a pic of what's inside after I started eating it, HAHA!

The Grove.
Adjacent to the Farmers Market is an outdoor retail and entertainment complex called The Grove. It has a large center park with an animated water fountain, surrounded by shops and eateries. There's an internal transit system that uses electric-powered trolley cars that you can ride for free, but honestly its just a short walk from the market to The Grove.

For shopping enthusiasts, it has a variety of shops like NordStrom, Topshop/Topman, Barnes & Noble, and Apple. Other famous shops like Michael Kors, Gap, Crate & Barrel, Nike, MAC Cosmetics, Coach, Forever 21, and Kiehl's can also be found here.

For restaurants, The Grove has Maggiano's Little Italy and the famous The Cheesecake Factory. You can also opt for smaller local restaurants since the big and famous ones are always full of people waiting to be seated especially on weekends.

There's a 14 screen movie theater complex for movie fanatics. There's also an outdoor stage that hosts concerts, summer movies, and even Cirque du Soleil previews.

The Grove is located at 189 The Grove Drive Los Angeles, CA 90036.

Every summer has a story. I spent mine eating a giant lollipop at The Grove.

We're too shy to come inside Abercrombie & Fitch which is famous for their 'topless' male sales attendants.

Outside their movie theater complex, Pacific Theatres.

You can never get lost since there are signages to help you find the right way. :)
