Mother's Day 2017

We celebrated Mother's Day a day earlier this year. Last year kasi, since first time namin magplan on our own, sobrang nahirapan kami to find a place where we could eat on Sunday mismo. So this year, Saturday pa lang we celebrated it na. And dahil sigurista, we made reservations na din.
DJ treated us to a lunch buffet in Buffet 101 at Robinson's Magnolia.
Kasama namin Ate Luna (Kiel's yaya) and his mama. For a good 4 hours we
stuffed our stomachs full with delicious and abundant food -- dami ba
naman choices, haha! Unlimited international dishes and unlimited drinks
pa. Honestly, I'm not a fan of buffet eating since di naman talaga ako
madami kumain. Feeling ko, buffet is not sulit for me. But of course,
pag libre iba na ang usapan, hehe. So thanks babe for treating us all.
Mejo nagworry lang kami, baka sa dami ng food, mahighblood bigla si yaya
at mama nia.
And look who enjoyed most. Si Kiel talaga ang pinakasulit eh. Sya na nga ang free, sya pa ang nakarami ng kain, haha! 😅 Just look at his face while waiting, sa buffet table sya nakatingin nyan.
We went to UP Diliman after to buy some stuff then proceeded to Manila. We stopped by the Children's Park in Luneta to check it out. However, a very unfortunate event happened after that. When we were about to go home, nagpanic mode ang DJ. Nawawala ang susi ng car! Turns out na naiwan nya sa loob ng sasakyan. 😓 Wala kaming spare key.
Buti na lang napapunta namin ang Uber driver namin na galing pang Antipolo. So tumambay na lang muna kami ng SM Manila while waiting. Nung nabuksan na, drained naman ang battery, haaaysus sa kamalasan. Ayaw magstart. Thanks to Motolite Expess Delivery, nacharge ang battery and nakauwi din kami.
On Sunday, which is the actual Mother's Day, we just stayed at home. At around 5PM, we headed to Manila again. We have a reservation for BBQ dinner buffet at White Moon Bar by Hotel H2O. Yeah, I know..buffet again, haha! But this time, 3 na lang kami. Anyway, White Moon Bar is a lounge/bar area overlooking Manila Bay. So sayang lang kasi we were not able to catch the sunset that Manila Bay is known for. Gabi na kasi kami nakarating.
The BBQ buffet is actually their Mother's Day special. Compared to Buffet 101 mas nasarapan si DJ sa food dito. Although konti ang choices, sulit naman kasi masarap ang food. I think they served food from Makan Makan, the asian food restaurant of Hotel H2O. Since BBQ buffet ang setup, their chefs are grilling and cooking food outdoors. Mejo mausok pero keri lang.
Me live band din singing soft acoustic music. They also gave out stemmed roses to moms. At the end of the night, me paraffle pa. Malas lang talaga siguru ako sa mga ganun kasi ung mga katabi ko, nabunot names nila. Free overnight stay in Hotel H2O ang main prize. Umasa pa ko ng konti kasi konti lang naman ang guests, pero wala talaga. Haha, nasaktan lang tuloy.
Here's our family pic taken in SM Manila. Nakailang kuha kami kasi anlikot ni Kiel. Sabi nga nila, you only have a few seconds when taking a photo with a toddler. Haha!
Happy Mother's Day to my mom as well na nasa province! I love you pa din kahit di na tayo masyadong nagkakaintindihan lately. You'll always be the mom that I am forever grateful with, despite all the family dramas we've been through.
